§ Mr. HoonOver the last three years, a total of £1,727,812 has been paid in legal aid costs under a contract between the Legal Aid Board and the firm of solicitors representing women seeking compensation for injuries caused by radiotherapy treatment after breast cancer. The final costs will not be known until the cases are finished and the court's decision is known.
