§ Mr. Tom Clarke100 staff are employed at head office which is 19.8 per cent. of the total staff, all of whom are based in the south-east of England. The running costs of the head office are expected to be £2.62 million in 1997–98 which is 22.9 per cent. of the total running costs. Head office comprises the Chief Executive's office, 307W Central Finance, and Personnel Services, and the Curatorial and Surveyor of the Fabric's Departments. Running costs comprise pay, recruitment, training, travel and expenses, consultancies and the employment of agency staff.
