§ Clare ShortMy Department is revising Country Strategy Papers in the light of the White Paper and the Departmental Spending Review. Over time, we shall increase the proportion of bilateral assistance allocated to low income countries, in particular countries which are themselves committed to sound policies to bring about the elimination of poverty. Country Strategy Papers will be made publicly available as they are finalised.
