§ Mr. Battle[holding answer 23 March 1998]: My hon. Friend has written to me on this subject, and further to my reply of 18 February, in which I stated that my officials were pursuing this matter, I can confirm they have been making inquiries to obtain details of the project from the university.
My officials will continue to investigate and will consider carefully the information we receive. I will write to my hon. Friend with more details as soon as possible and place a copy of that letter in the Library of the House.
