§ Mr. RookerThe Department held no discussions with either organisation prior to the publication of the White Paper 'The Food Standards Agency:A Force for Change'. The Engineering Council has, however, commented on the White Paper on behalf of the engineering profession (including the Institution of Agricultural Engineers). Their views will be carefully considered, along with all other responses to this consultation.
