§ Mr. FatchettAs the United Kingdom's principal agency for cultural relations overseas, the British Council will continue to contribute to the achievement of the Government's foreign policy objectives including the enhancement of the United Kingdom's influence and prestige overseas, the spread of good government and the promotion of exports in the cultural and education and training fields.
