§ Mr. WilsonThe Government accept that monitoring and evaluation of the New Deal will be crucial to its success, and a number of systems are in place to collect and analyse the relevant data on an ongoing basis. In addition, bids have been invited to undertake independent evaluation of the extent to which the aims and objectives of the programme are met.
