These figures are being revised in the light of further information provided by the industry, and, as my hon. Friend the Parliamentary Secretary has already explained to my hon. Friend the Member for Ayr (Ms Osborne) on 24 February 1998, Official Report, columns 187–88, these allocations will need to be further reviewed as definitive information about activity in 1997 becomes available.
