§ Dawn PrimaroloMr. Michael Johns was made Chief Executive of the Valuation Office Agency by internal Civil Service appointment.
The Chief Executive is responsible for the efficient and effective management of the Agency, and is accountable for its performance to the Chairman of the Board of Inland Revenue—and through the Chairman to Treasury Ministers. He is the Accounting Officer for the Agency's two Votes (for Administration, and for Contributions in Lieu of Rates).
