§ Mr. FatchettThe EU/Japan Summit took place on 12 January 1998 in Tokyo. The Prime Minister was present at the Summit in his role as President of the European Council. A joint EU/Japan press statement was issued on 12 January 1998. I am placing copies in the Libraries of the House.
