§ Mr. Chris SmithOn 11 December 1997,Official Report, column 636, I announced that, from 1 April 1998, the fee for a colour television licence would increase to £97.50 and that for a black and white licence to £32.50. I have today laid before Parliament the regulations necessary to bring these fees into force.
