§ Angela EagleOn 29 May 1997, the Government announced a review to consider how the Hedgerows Regulations 1997 might be strengthened so that they give better protection for hedgerows. The review is being undertaken by a group which includes nominees of the statutory agencies, local authorities and the main farming and conservation bodies. It is expected to complete its work shortly.
