§ Mr. BattleMy right hon. Friend the President of the Board of Trade, as Minister with responsibility for science, takes overall responsibility for co-ordination of policy on issues relating to genetic modification across Government. We maintain regular contact with Ministerial colleagues with an interest in these matters.
