§ Dr. HowellsInformation is not collected centrally for students studying courses relating to film production. Research undertaken last year by Skillset, the National Training Organisation (NTO) for the Broadcasting, Film, Video and Multimedia sectors, indicated that at that time there were over 400 Higher Education courses in Media studies attended by over 32,000 students.
