§ Mr. SpellarThe 4th/7th Royal Dragoon Guards no longer exists, having amalgamated with the 5th Royal Inniskilling Dragoon Guards in 1992 to form the Royal Dragoon Guards (RDG). Since their formation the RDG have complied with MOD policy on occupational noise as laid down in Joint Service Publication 375 (the MOD Health and Safety Handbook) Volume 3, Chapter 13, a copy of which is being placed in the Library of the House. We have no record of guidance which might have been issued separately to the 4/7 RDG before 1992 as documents which pre-date the amalgamation were not retained.
