§ Mr. Raynsford[holding answer 3 March 1998]: Individual electors can raise any concern they have about the business or conduct of a parish council at the parish meeting. Where parish councils carry out a function on behalf of a local authority, complaints alleging injustice on account of maladministration may be investigated by the Local Government Ombudsman.
