§ The Prime Minister[holding answer 2 March 1998]: I am ensuring that the Honours Lists better recognise the achievement of ordinary people in changing things for the better, especially in areas of priority for this Government including education, health, law and order, social regeneration, the creation of jobs and innovation and enterprise. The Honours List published at the New Year began the process with a particular emphasis on education and the Birthday List will continue it with a particular emphasis on health.
