§ Mr. DenhamThe Guide to Green Transport Plans circulated last September by the Parliamentary Under-Secretary for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, my hon. Friend the Member for Hampstead and Highgate (Ms Jackson), encouraged Departments to appoint green transport co-ordinators. This Department appointed a co-ordinator in December 1997. The appointment took effect from 1 January.
