§ Mr. StrawAs described in the Home Office Annual Report (CM 3608), the work of the Home Office covers a very wide range of activity. It is part of the normal duties of officials to attend and contribute to conferences in the United Kingdom and overseas, including events organised by the voluntary sector, on behalf of the Department. Detailed figures are not collected centrally.
