The Secretary of State for Social Security has asked me to reply to your recent Parliamentary Question asking what plans there are to re-align local Benefits Agency (BA) boundaries so as to make them co-terminous with local authority boundaries.As part of our ongoing effort to improve customer service we are looking together with our colleagues from the Employment Service at the boundaries of the two agencies and local authorities, with a view to seeking further alignment where possible.I hope you find this reply helpful.
