§ Ms QuinBoth the Home Office and the Department of Health are committed to improving the level of support and information provided to the victims of crimes committed by people with mental disorders. Due consideration needs to be given to confidentiality of personal information, but I hope the first results of the work we are undertaking will be seen in the next few months, in the form of a Department of Health leaflet for victims about the care and discharge arrangements for mentally disordered offenders.
