§ Mr. Darling[holding answer 18 June 1998]: There has been no change to the outturn information for 1996–97 since the Financial Statement and Budget Report March 1998. Provisional outturn information by department for 1997–98 was published in the Public Expenditure Outturn White Paper (Cm 3988) on 19 June. There have been no changes to the 1998–99 Control Total, with the exception of those noted in Table 3A.1 of the Economic and Fiscal Strategy Report 1998 (Cm 3978).
