§ Mr. HainWelsh Office officials are working with the Welsh Local Government Association and other agencies to set up a joint project board to oversee the development of a new Index of socio-economic conditions for Wales. I expect this work, which will take into account the results of the review of the Index of Local Conditions in England, to be completed in about a year.
