To ask the Secretary of State for Defence (1) what assessment he has made of the extent of the deductions made from the pay of protected personnel in enemy prisons during the Second World War; and what is his policy on compensation for those affected; [46195]

(2) what representations he has received from Second World War protected personnel who had their pay deducted. [46193]
