§ Mr. Doug HendersonThe letter from the German Foreign Minister expresses the view that nothing in the Amsterdam Treaty provisions on immigration policy prevents national immigration rules as long as they are compatible with the Treaty. A copy of the letter will be placed in the Libraries of the House shortly.
