§ Ms Estelle MorrisAll funding for local education authorities is being considered as part of the Comprehensive Spending Review. It will be for authorities to decide within the total resources available to them the level of support to be provided for each of their services.
The Department for Education and Employment will be consulting in the autumn on statutory guidance for local education authorities on educational provision for children who are out of school.
