§ Marjorie MowlamThe gross running costs limit for 1998–99 for the Northern Ireland Office and the Northern Ireland Departments is £749,283,000. There is also a net running cost limit of zero for the Land Registers of Northern Ireland. A separate running cost limit of £6,041,000 for the Welfare to Work programme is outside the control total. Details of the provision for individual Northern Ireland Departments are set out in the Northern Ireland Estimates published today and are available in the Library.
