§ Dr. ReidWe estimate that the cost to the Armed Forces Pension Scheme of raising the level of all pre-1973 service widows' pensions to half that of their deceased husbands' pensions would be approximately £30 million a year. A precise figure could be calculated only at disproportionate cost.
