§ Ms Glenda JacksonLondon Transport is one of a number of bodies whose responsibilities will be taken over by the Greater London Authority subject to the necessary legislation being approved by Parliament. Discussions are already under way between the Government Office for London and London Transport, and the other bodies involved, with a view to effecting a smooth transition.
