This document was drawn up by Linbert Spencer, an expert in race and community relations, in consultation with those in the FCO concerned with equal opportunities, recruitment and staff development.
The FCO informs minority ethnic communities and prospective applicants about its role and activities through its website and through contact with all UK University careers advisers and cultural societies, as well as though its database of contacts supplied by Hobsons Publishing, 488W The Windsor Fellowship, Project Fullemploy, the African and Caribbean Finance Forum and the Race Equality Councils.
