§ Mrs. RocheThe DTI provided support for twenty UK firms exhibiting at Eurosatory in the form of grants towards the cost of participation. A preliminary grant has been paid to the Defence Manufacturers Association who were managing the UK group. Remaining payments are subject to claims not yet received, but the overall budget for the event has been set at £85,000. Two more firms were part of the UK group but are ineligible for grant. I have been informed that no DTI officials attended the event.
