§ Mr. Tony LloydThe EU agreed a Common Position on Nigeria on 20 November 1995 which includes a full-scope arms embargo. The UK interprets the embargo to include all goods and technology on the Military List (part III of Schedule 1 of the Export of Goods (Control) Order 1994). The Government enforce the embargo rigorously.
