§ The Prime MinisterThe Evacuees Reunion Association (ERA) contacted me last year seeking Government support for their proposal to mark the 60th anniversary of wartime evacuation with a church service and rally in central London. The Home Office, which has responsibility for remaining civilian wartime matters, has taken a lead on this issue and will be seconding an official to provide help and guidance with the preparations.
