§ The Prime Minister[holding answer 1 June 1998]: In my oral answer of 20 May I said that there is no evidence that other countries are prepared to support reversing the position on the abolition of infra-EU duty free sales. I made this statement on the basis of the previous day's discussions at the ECOFIN Council meeting.
