§ Mr. Chris SmithThe new buildings of the UK Sports Institute are expected to be open at the end of the year 2000. However, we expect to have services on-stream before then and very much hope that there will be benefits for the Sydney 2000 Olympic Games.
The UK Sports Council is already talking to individual sports about how their existing programmes can be enhanced.
