§ Mr. MandelsonI have received a number of representations on this important issue, as have my colleagues in the Treasury, the Department for International Development and the Department for Culture, Media and Sport. Representations have particularly related to the Jubilee 2000 campaign and the Bondfire project.
The Government are committed to the Heavily Indebted Poor Countries Initiative, which aims to reduce the debt burden of the world's most indebted countries to sustainable levels.
