HC Deb 01 June 1998 vol 313 cc83-4W
Mr. William Ross

To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will place in the Library a copy of(a) the report by the Deputy Chief Constable of Lothian and Borders Police, on the Grampian Constabulary and (b) other reports concerning the management and administration of the Constabulary. [42404]

Mr. McLeish

Yes. Copies of the report by Graham Power on the handling of the Scott Simpson murder inquiry by Grampian Police have already been placed in the Libraries of both Houses. Arrangements are being made to place copies of the Accounts Commission for Scotland's Report on the Scottish Police Service Performance Manual, published on 22 April, in the Libraries. Copies of Her Majesty's Chief Inspector of Constabulary's inspection report on Grampian Police will be placed in the House Libraries when it is published.
