Ms Jowell

We actively consult a wide variety of stakeholders including those who have particular expertise on gender related issues, as legislative proposals for health and social services are developed.

Furthermore, the Cabinet sub committee on women's issues, of which I am a member, reviews and develops the Government's policy and strategy on issues of special concern to women.
