Mr. Baker

To ask the President of the Council (1) what was the total amount paid in hon. Members' mileage allowances in respect of(a) travel within the constituency and (b) travel between the constituency and Westminster for (i) May 1995 to April 1996, (ii) May 1996 to April 1997 and (iii) May 1997 to April 1998; and what was the total mileage recorded in each case; [54185]

(2) how many hon. Members submitted claims for more than ten car journeys between constituency and Westminster during (a) May 1995 to April 1996,(b) May 1996 to April 1997 and (c) May 1997 to April 1998; [54186]

(3) how many hon. Members requested rail warrants for use between constituency and Westminster in (a) May 1995 to April 1996, (b) May 1996 to April 1997 and (c) May 1997 to April 1998; [54188]

(4) how many hon. Members claimed for in excess of 350 miles driven within the constituency for any week within the last month for which figures are available. [54190]
