To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs (1) what recent contacts there have been with(a) officials and (b) ministers of the Libyan Government on the arrangements for a trial of suspects in the Lockerbie case in The Hague; and if it is his intention that discussions on this issue should continue; [54066]

(2) if he will make a statement on the arrangements which would be acceptable to Her Majesty's Government for a trial of suspects of the Lockerbie bombing to take place in The Hague. [54067]
