To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will list the health authorities in England and Wales which do not have a general practitioner as a non-executive member of their board. [54895]

The 58 health authorities in England which do not have a general medical practitioner as a chairman or non-executive member are listed in the table.

Appointments to Welsh health authorities are a matter for my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Wales.
