To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer if he will change the funding formula for(a) Scotland and (b) Wales for the next three years. [54954]

Mr. Byers

The White Papers "Scotland's Parliament" (Cm 3658) and "A Voice for Wales" (Cm 3718) explained that the funding formula will be updated from time to time to take account of population and other technical changes.
