§ Mr. StrawThe United Kingdom representative on the Committee set up under Article K4 of the Treaty on European Union is Mr. Timothy Walker, Director General of the Immigration and Nationality Directorate of the Home Office. He is accompanied by other members of the Home Office and members of the United Kingdom Permanent Representation in Brussels. Representatives from other Government Departments, such as the Lord Chancellor's Department and Her Majesty's Customs and Excise, sometimes attend in a supporting role, depending on the subject matter under discussion.
