§ Mr. SpellarThe rates for Commercial Exploitation Levy will vary according to the type of equipment involved and whether the use of Government-funded jigs and tools is intended. Details of the individual rates, and the circumstances in which they might apply, are withheld under Exemption 13 of the Code of Practice on Access to Government Information relating to Third Party's commercial confidences. Higher values sales would normally employ profit sharing schemes rather than the720W application of rates of levy. The circumstances of individual sales may also permit some variation to the levy arrangements which are negotiated case by case.
