Dr. Harris

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he anticipates that the review group looking into abuse of trust in the context of sexual relationships with people aged under 18 years will report. [53916]

Mr. Michael

The Working Group will look both at preventing unsuitable people from working with children and at abuse of trust. It is due to report by the end of the year at the latest, and I have asked the Group to give priority to looking at issues concerning abuse of trust.

Dr. Harris

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department when he expects his review of discriminatory provisions of existing sexual offences laws to be complete; with whom the review group is consulting; and when it commenced its deliberations. [53917]

Mr. Michael

We are considering how best this review can be undertaken. Its membership and terms of reference will be published in due course.
