HC Deb 30 July 1998 vol 317 c511W
Dr. Tonge

To ask the Secretary of State for Health what plans he has to reduce waiting lists for radiotherapy in NHS hospitals in the London Region. [52808]

Mr. Milburn

[holding answer 29 July 1998]: An extra £104.6 million has already been allocated to health authorities in the two Thames regions in 1998–99 to tackle National Health Service waiting lists. It is for health authorities, in partnership with NHS trusts and local primary care teams, to make decisions on how these extra resources should be invested to reduce waiting lists.
