§ Mr. Mike O'BrienThere are no plans to review options on the Passport Office at Newport. The Passport Agency undertook a review of the role and location of its offices in 1995 and concluded that its six regional passport offices (sited in Belfast, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Newport and Peterborough) were able to meet anticipated levels of demand in the most effective way and there was no case for altering the number or location of offices. This remains the Agency's position and we are not considering any changes.
