To ask the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions what responsibility OPRAF have to ensure that systems used by train operating companies are millennium compliant. [54529]

OPRAF has no specific responsibility for this. Millennium compliance is the responsibility of the train operating companies. OPRAF has a clear interest in the delivery of train operators' obligations and would be concerned with any failure to deliver, whatever the cause.
