HC Deb 30 July 1998 vol 317 c522W
Ms Oona King

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs how many applications have been made at the British High Commission Visa Section in Dhaka for entry clearance by over-aged children who had previously been refused on the grounds of not being related as claimed but whose relationship has now been established by DNA testing since June 1989. [52715]

Mr. Fatchett

Figures for applications made by over-aged children under the 1989 concession at Dhaka are not readily available, and could be obtained only at disproportionate cost. No fresh applications have been made in recent years under the concession at any overseas Post.
