§ Mr. Rooker[holding answer 28 July 1998]: The meetings listed have taken place between officials and Ministers with seed and biotechnology companies since 9 July 1998.
The then Minister, the right hon. Jack Cunningham MP, met Mr. H. Grant and Ms A. Foster from Monsanto on 15 July.
Officials met on 15 July with Mr. J. Gilbert from Germinal Holdings and Mr. N. Bark from British Seed Houses, and on 24 July with Mr. H. Manning from AgrEvo and Mr. M. Coy from the English Sugar Beet Seed Company.
